    Appointed by the board of directors, the Executive Director ensures the successful leadership and management of the CRKN as its chief executive officer.

    The Executive Director works closely with the board to plan, coordinate and implement the overall strategic direction. The Executive Director also acts as an advisor to the board, reviewing policies and initiatives and serving as an ex officio member of its committees.

    The Executive Director leads the day-to-day activities of the CRKN, including leadership of its staff, the acquisition and management of content licenses, and the promotion of CRKN among partners and the academic community.

    Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Operations is responsible for oversight of the finance function, organizational and facilities management for CRKN.

    Reporting to the Executive Director, the Office Administrator works closely with CRKN members and staff to support both internal and external CRKN services.

    The Office Administrator provides overall administrative, financial and communications support; supplies meeting management services; offers logistical assistance during day-to-day operations; assists with coordination of special events; and collaborates with other staff to ensure the effective functioning of the office.

    The Member Services & Licensing Officer is responsible for assessing and mediating member needs, assisting with content expansion projects, monitoring license performance and more. She reports to the Executive Director.

    Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Finance Officer oversees the financial management for CRKN.

    The Finance Officer ensures the effective management and control of the CRKN’s financial resources, carries out invoicing and implements financial policies and procedures.

    Reporting to the Executive Director, the Senior Content & Licensing Officer is responsible for administering the Content program including coordinating the negotiations process, on-going contracts management, and license maintenance support. Performs staff support for the Negotiations Resource Team and other committees and task groups, as well as oversees the frontline Member Services function.

    Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Communications is responsible for planning, developing, producing and implementing CRKN’s communications and marketing initiatives.

    The Director of Communications manages both internal and external communications, liaising with stakeholders including libraries, universities, research communities, funding agencies, government and media.
