Finance update - CRKN registers for QST

Effective August 17, 2011, CRKN has elected to become a QST registrant. The change will simplify the administration of the tax for members in Quebec for invoices dated September 1, 2011 and later. Members outside Quebec will NOT be impacted.

The change will also allow CRKN to properly charge GST and QST on all registrations for its October AGM in Gatineau, Quebec. CRKN has communicated this change to finance contacts at all member institutions, prepared an FAQ, and scheduled a series of one-hour teleconferences on September 8 & 9 for Quebec members.
